Light houses

These are some of the light houses I've done over the years. The first is a pen and ink. The second is pastel on colored paper and the third is a charcoal on colored paper. What do you think? Which is best? Please comment. Thank you.

Reflections

This was my table after I finished the portrait I was drawing. It caught my eye. The reflection in the sunglasses seemed comical.

The Eye

This is a charcoal on paper. I was just practicing on eyes. They are the one aspect of a person or animal that gives it life. If they are not right the portrait is not right.

Majestic

This is a charcoal on paper. Just another picture out of my head. Love these majestic birds.

The Chief.

This is a charcoal on paper. Just something out of my head. Reading to many Louis L' Mour novels. Lol.

Mountain Man

This drawing was completed at the annual Mountain Man festival at Wooley Hollow State park. Arkansas.

Colin's Creek.

This was completed on a late fall day outgoing with my family. Charcoal on paper.

Forrest road

This is a charcoal on paper that I completed on an outing with some other artist friends.

Under the surface

This is a charcoal on blue pastel paper. I created the light filtering through the water by lightly covering the paper with charcoal then removing some with a kneadable eraser. Please leave a comment.
